§ 4-1. Final plan submission.

  • 4-1-1. Within 12 months after approval of the preliminary plan, the final plan and all required supplemental data shall be submitted to the zoning administrator. An extension of time may be granted by the planning commission upon written request. Otherwise, the plan submitted shall be considered as a new preliminary plan and be subject to all the requirements thereto.

    4-1-2. Every aspect of the final plan shall substantially conform with that corresponding feature shown on the preliminary plan as previously approved by the planning commission. The zoning administrator shall require that the subdivider return to the planning commission with a new preliminary plan if any feature differs substantially on the final plan from the approved preliminary plan.

    4-1-3. The final plan may be submitted in sections, each covering a reasonable portion of the entire proposed subdivision. In the case of a final plan which is to be submitted in sections over a period of years, the time between submission of applications for final approval of each section shall be no greater than 12 months.

    4-1-4. Official submission of a final plan to the zoning administrator shall be comprised of the following:

    4-1-4.1. Submission of five paper prints of the final plan which shall fully comply with sections 4-2-2.1 through 4-2-2.2 of the ordinance.

    4-1-4.2. Submission of one copy of all required supplemental information as set forth in section 4-2-3.

    4-1-4.3. Submission of two copies of all offers of dedication and covenants governing the reservation and maintenance of undedicated open space which shall bear signature of approval of the county attorney as to their legal sufficiency.
